TTI is stocking a range of X7R and C0G automotive multilayer ceramic chip capacityors from KEMET capable of being deployed in harsh environments.

KEMET’s X7R and C0G automotive-grade surface mount multilayer ceramic chip capacitors (MLCCs) for a variety of applications requiring reliable operation are now available in Europe through TTI.

The X7R and C0G components undergo a strict testing protocol and inspection criteria making them ideal for use in harsh environmental conditions.

X7R series devices are available in different case sizes and DC voltage ratings as well as capacitance offerings ranging from 10pF up to 22μF. Capacitance tolerances are ±5%, ±10%, and ±20%. The operating temperature range is from −55°C up to +125°C.

The products benefit from voltage conditioning and post-electrical testing as per MIL–PRF–55681, Destructive Physical Analysis (DPA) as per EIA–469, and biased humidity testing (85/85) as per MIL–STD–202. A 100% pure matte tin-plated termination finish allows for excellent solderability. A SnPb termination finish option is available upon request (5% Pb minimum).

C0G series components benefit from extremely low ESR and ESL values, high thermal stability and high ripple current capability. These devices are similarly available in a variety of case sizes and DC voltage ratings. Capacitance offerings range from 0.5pF up to 0.47μF with a choice of tolerances. The operating temperature range is from −55°C up to +125°C. A 100% pure matte tin-plated termination finish allows for excellent solderability. A SnPb termination finish option is available upon request (5% Pb minimum).
