Lishen Battery is using Siemens Xcelerator software to scale sustainable battery production
Siemens Digital Industries Software recently has signed an agreement with Tianjin Lishen Battery for the use of its software in the research, development and production of lithium-ion batteries. The use of the software is a milestone in Lishen Battery’s digital transformation.
“Lishen Battery is firmly dedicated to delivering comprehensive power systems to customers and the collaboration with Siemens will harness the potential of digitalisation to change the company’s management system and drive our pursuit of high-quality development,” said Tong Laiming, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Board, Lishen Battery.
As part of the deal, Lishen Battery will use Opcenter software from the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio to establish a technology centre, a facility that will be equipped with advanced capabilities for full data traceability and connectivity throughout product research and development as well as the manufacturing process.
“The key to improving the competitiveness of the manufacturing industry lies in integration with digital technology,” says Leo Liang, Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Greater China, Siemens Digital Industries Software.
